Smart contracts are self-executing, coded contracts with pre-defined terms. Decentralized running smart contracts are computer protocols that are used to digitally facilitate and enforce contracts without a third party. These transactions are trackable and irreversible. Coding long-term secure smart contracts is complex – especially when multiple coded contracts interact.
