Blockchain Interoperability

Blockchain interoperability is the possibility to freely share value across different blockchain networks. There are more than 100 blockchains that have different specifications and fit different use cases. Applications can make use of smart contracts and oracles on various blockchains and tokens can be exchanged across networks – if blockchains enable that. Many blockchains aim for interoperability with blockchains that have already traction, or specific functionality that lacks on their own chain. Some blockchains focus specifically on interoperability and test different approaches.
